Well, I am loving the longer days and warm weather. My garden is finally dry enough to train on which makes me very happy.
D and Hoaxey are progressing well and it is so nice to be able to do little bits in the garden that I need to focus on. D needs wait practise which is what I have been focusing on for the past week or so and Hoax needs.. well everything. As always she seems to constantly throw me curve balls with a new training challenge :)
Last Friday I met up with a friend to work our dogs, at mums field. It was fab as I have a lot of the same problems with Hoax as she has with her medium collie, it's nice to see how she works through problems and to not feel like I am the only one with certain issues. I think Hoax and her dog are secret twins- they are even alike away from Agility :) I do have one hope though, if Hoaxey ends up anywhere near as awesome at agility her secret twin I will be very happy!
I did go away a bit sad though... Boo isn't right, even with all his physio and chiro stuff he still isn't jumping properly, he isnt extending and therefore loosing time but more than that, if he is jumping that way I am worried he is physically uncomfortable somewhere, either that or it's a habit from last seasons pains. I think I need to investigate more.
WBSDS this weekend coming- cant wait to catch up with my friends!!!
